My Desert Island Discs style recording - Sounds Familiar
What are the seven most important pieces of music to you and what are the stories and memories they evoke? I record the songs of your soul, the soundtrack to your life. Inspired by radio programmes like ‘Desert island discs’, ‘Inheritance tracks’ and ‘The tracks of your years’ this is your chance to be the star of the show.
During a remote interview, I help you to tell your stories and share your memories. We then spin our magic and interweave your words with your seven chosen tracks to create a truly unique 40 - 45 minute recording. Sounds Familiar - my Desert Island Discs style recording really is a very popular and unique gift for parents who have everything.

How it works
1. Call me on 07903582474, email alice@thestorykeepers.co.uk, or fill in the contact form below to buy a gift token or to book a recording for yourself or as a gift for a friend, colleague, partner, or family member!
2. We will be in contact with the storyteller to say a quick hello. We will also do a short sound test, answer any questions and agree on a date for the recording.
3. The storyteller then has the really tough task of choosing their tracks.
4. The recording will take between 60 and 90 mins.
5. Now it is over to us to spin our magic and create for you, your very own Sounds Familiar recording.
Please note
Recording quality for remote interviews: We will work with each of our storytellers to use the most suitable technology for their interview. We will advise and support our storytellers to help get the best sound recording. While we will do our very best we can not guarantee the quality of a remote recording.
Music choice: We will do our best to source and license your music choices but very occasionally it is not possible. If this is the case we will work with the storyteller to find a solution.
Editing: We will edit your recording and send it to you to listen to and check. You are welcome to send us back one set of corrections or amendments before we send you the final version in your Story Keepers gift box.
